Suede leather boots with toes of steel And gloves to match that manly feel. A khaki shirt with buttons black To show the men their boss is back. Her name was Rose with steely blues That showed all them was she who’d choose. The wait was long, the murmurs low The time was nigh to start her show. Across that yard she walked her walk And let them hear her talk her talk. For she did call the shots you see This blue eyed gal wore BVDs. They came across the old dirt lot To see if Rose was truly hot. For rumors told she wore the looks To steal their hearts and bend their hooks Her voice was calm as was her heart For Rose knew some would soon depart. The jobs were culled to those who chose To feel the thorns of blue eyed Rose. And to this day she is still there This woman with her long blonde flair Who still can walk and talk her way From here to there and back...they say. Thanx bunches M. We try, we do try.... Linda my dear.....I'll have to think about it for a while... Right now, I think I will use the poetic approach and see how far I can get...after that, perhaps some tiddlywinks or scrabble...what ya think? |
