Give me back my heart This hole in my chest hurts It seems when God opens a window is then that I find the door... The air is thick with pollution, but tastes sweeter than the rain and thus, my mind wanders old pathways scurrying up wet roads to another molehill Even with these wrong turns and trials I know where my love resides -where it resigns You see, it beckons, and I curl toward love, For larger it is, even than sounds of thunder So my love, my being, and my mind are chained Even now, I'm bound to your finger tips Perchance you should feel your own heart pang As I trace these words across your lips But if you don't understand what I have said Just take better care of my heart then I did -Juju |
