  Thought on thought collides
                    bursting the seam
                 of what seems
               to lend wail of
             wandering spirits keen
    I hear them
        impaled on listen of ear
        crawling back through destruction

                feeling
   peeling
                   revealing
    searching
                  unearthing

  Pieces amiss

   gathering cloud of storm
      warns
          but does not warm
  these monks
  they are not helping me
        I hear their masculinity
  monotone the sun and flank
the priory of two by two
           and mourning doves
   left startling
  white pin feathers
  on the gray
  gravel
  every footfall sank
              as though
  God was weeping
             on a curve...
  dancing like he's dangerous
            as the angel clapped
            absurd
  wings in molting
      featherings
  coral is the cobalt--gone--

   as the light
   does what she does

shine and blush awake a tide

shells in shimmer on the beach
as depth becomes her in the deep

  dangerous and roiling brine

  "remember me, entwined"

     Take leave of the leaf
                       let it drift
                        dare it to sift
                      your thoughts
                 through time
         as the white winged warrior
     brings it home

smile...

Marge made it easy, and fun.

As a thank you to her, and since her title reminded me of it, I'll leave a little present for her to share with the grandie-girls. It's just a little joke, and don't be alarmed Marge, it is one they can share--

Q. Why won't don't ducks fly upside down?

A. Because they are afraid of quacking up!

<---Huh? Huh? I hope I didn't scare ya Margie. *chuckle*

Thanks for the fun, and most of this was indeed Marge, she took pity on me as my last nerve broke yesterday and I managed a wee verse inspired by one of hers, and then she made it fly!

And now, I'm off to bed. I have a date with a teddy bear.

REALLY.

Hi, Marge (and co-writer?).

That's quite a poem!  Very vivid images as well as murky metaphors mark this work as one for ages.  Everyone will have to come to his or her own conclusion about what it means.

Well done.

It brought out both of your amazing styles in this . Very good. It was really good all the different words , but the reader can understand them how they work.

So nice to see your comments here~

MsSerenity~
Some days are just right for bringing everything you have to the 'circle' ...
through your email you inspired me to reach out ... touch ... and in the touching of stones ... the 'soup' was simmered~

LOL ... at your 'quackers' ... you know the why of why ... and I appreciate it~

YOU took the 'appeteaser' and worked well, and quickly, with me on brewing up a fine kettle of poetic soup~

Um, think we added too much 'salt' for some of them ?
Nah ... this diner's open 24/7 ... when 'they' get really hungry ... they'll flock to try what's on the menu~
'They' may even stick around to see what's on the dessert menu !  Ya' think ?

Thanks oodles and bookoodles~

I loved this line

"God was weeping
             on a curve..."

I am not sure why, only those words stood out for me

Nice to see a duel that links two in kind

You tickle me ... now why in the world would you and I get hungry at the same time ?

Beats the heck out of me ... but here's a er upper cupper~

A little take off on - You get a stone and I'll get a pot ... Honeyyyyyyyyyyyy
You get a stone and I'll get a pot ... Babeeeeee
