Last but still let

What has “Let” been?
A collection of infectious
devastations printed Courier New
onto seventy-two pages?
A memoir of final things
and nothings?
Poetry of different colors,
painted wet and acrylic from
brain’s paintbrush?
Hmm, what has “Let” been?

What is “Let?”
Let it be
like Let it is.
My raped and pillaged mind
given tokens of fury and bleeding
to the process of Let.
A symbol of thoughts
Let loose, Let free,
Let alone to Let it be.
Let is the fascist mustache
that wears power and glory.
Let is the autonomous Gandhi.
Let is poetry...

So now is to Let die.
From the first poem
of a boy’s raspberry dream
to this last time.
All has been
and will always remain.
But now is to Let die…

But remember:
I am Let.
You are Let.
All of us, we are…
So live gratis
and do not…
do not,
forget all things
different
and all things Grim.

I want to thank everybody for treating me so nicely in my short time here. Thank you all...

Sayonara my friends...

Grant~
May the warm winds that blew you
to reside upon the pages of blue
return you to us some sweet day
when all other things are out of the way~

For in the encircle
you will come again ....
I just KNOW it~

I've always enjoyed reading you Grant.
Not always had the time to reply though.
I hope you don't wander too far away..
and come back soon.
We'll leave the lights on for ya.

You may NOT leave.

You may not abandon, cede, digress, depart, or withdraw.

You MAY rest your mind, travel to a new height, or explore some uncharted recess of that wonderful mind of yours.

But return you must, for there are things only you can teach us. Views only you can express in the Un-grim form we have grown to respect.

Til that day, patiently I will wait for the resurgence of your words. So, gather them well, my friend. For as you garner bits and pieces of everyday life to weave into your own brand of poetic tapestry, there are those here awaiting to return it in kind, to you.

Your eyes have seen whimsy in the darkest shadows. And I have see it through your eyes. You ARE special beyond words.

~Words a just a fragile thing,
Spoken in the wind.
But emotion is an eternal thing,
always shared among family and friends.~

Beautiful, I absolutly loved it.

I had the pleasure of reading some of your work and enjoyed them also, sorry to hear your leaving.
Will backtrack to read more.

As the saying goes, "Live and let live".

But let me say this, "You will be sorely missed!" Kindly regard the replies that bear this out!

Fly free and unencumbered! Enjoy where life and your travels may take you!

Loving Light,

EA

There are poets I find myself looking for... you are one of them. If your path leads elsewhere for a while, know that there are those who'll be hoping for your return... I am one. Your work is always a feast for my poetic hunger.

And so it is with all of life,
A beginning predestines an end.
Go in peace.
Should you find your way back here,
Your welcome awaits.
