You’re just one more soul that will go to waste
With all those aimless dreams you chased,
Stop haunting this hollow heart of mine,
I’ve spent far too long; no omens benign
Your sex in disguise won’t blind these eyes
Of your dead and drunken meaningless lies,
Crawl back to your bottle, tip it back once more
To remember low places you’ve been before
Next time I see you I’ll just turn and smile
Because to me the pain will be worthwhile.
