Never Be Mine

Last night
I thought I
heard you whisper
someones name
other than mine.
If you go I'll be fine.
I knew from the beginning
you'd never be mine.

Thanks Nancy for your concern...
I didn't get your email...not sure why.
The major damage was on the Big Island and I live
on Oahu...I was awoken a little after 7 am when my
bed was shaking for about 15 seconds...was without
electricity for 12 hours...on the Big Island there
was some road damage and homes that cracked and
collapsed...only one person injured with a broken
arm, I believe...so thats good news.
The poem was just made up...or was it...I have a
woman I like right now...her name is Sherry...but
thats not her real name...she's a joy...we might
go for a drive and get some shrimp on Thursday
morning ...James

Relieved to learn that you faired well regarding the earthquake, Island Man.

The evening before it happened, I had been watching "Little People In a Big World" and Matthew Roloff took his family to Hawaii on  vacation. While watching it I knew that a major earthquake was imminent. I phoned my boyfriend and told him about my premonition ~ and lo and behold, a few hours later, it happened!

Regarding your poem, "As ye love, may ye be so loved in return."

Aloha hugs,
Linda

Thank you Enchantress, passing shadows and Earth Angel for the nice responses...
Have been reading reports in the newspaper of serious damage on the Big Island...
they were closest to the center of the earthquake...somewhere off their Northwest coast...still their was no loss of life and I consider that a good day...I was only without electricity for 12 hours...James

(sigh) I am relieved on multiple levels; firstly that you are safe from the local earthquake this week, and secondly that this poem doesn't relate to your life currently and it seems a new wonderful friendship is blooming! (smiles) I hope you and Sherry had a delightful shrimp meal together, yay, God Bless You and I'm delighted to hear you're safe, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
