... Sometimes my thoughts are incomplete ...
... in all I try to say or do ...
... so I fill in the dead space ...
... with an ellipse or two ...
... knowing that they infuriate some ...
... but caring not a twit ...
... omission of a word or phrase necessary ...
... for a complete syntactical construction ...
... but not necessary for understanding ...
... a poem in total destruction ...
... I love ellipses .... yes I do ...
... so you are just stuck with it ...

Marge!  My sides hurt from laughing now!

There is not one post of mine...or reply,
without ellipses!
Why? Because I love them.....!!
You are tooooo much!
Hugs and laughs, Nancy

Marge...I too...often use ellipses...to separate my thoughts...I'm very partial to them...as you can see.

Hi, Marge.

I, too, am an unabashed, unapologetic and prolific user of ellipses...

...In fact, I love them.

...AND, they are VERY useful when you DON'T want to finish a thought...for whatever reason...

...See what I mean...?

Very funny...

Marge, I absolutely LOVE the title.  And yes, I understand your position.   I wish I could talk with those three little dots.

Far too often I find myself using them... to make various points...in place of other punctuation... to indicate unfinished sentences... or?

I love your poem concerning them......

I'm love ellipses! I'm a bit like Picasso in that I learn the rules and love to break them!

ROFL... You've gotta know I love this!! *S*

In writing my legal memos, I use ellipses to indicate that I've left out part of what I'm quoting... I sorta figure that's descriptive of my mind and poems - something's missing! LOL

(giggles) And I certainly don't mind you using them, as I too believe ellipses speak volumes in literature, as to me it is representative of an individual really feeling the moment, reflecting in a sensitive demeanor, and I believe there's so much we fail to feel in life if we only go by commas and periods! (smiles) I enjoyed this, dear friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Marge, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
