I Didn't Miss A Thing

Some people never look back
to see what they left behind,
to smile or cry at the remind,
to be held there by the bind.

But some things back there are beautiful,
and I welcome the laughs and tears,
I will always recall the prior years
and hope the view never disappears.

And even though I've a road ahead,
there's a past to which I cling,
I'm thankful for the joy you bring,
knowing I didn't miss a thing.
