the forest whispers
a doe grazes unguarded
in the dying light

(an old write brought to mind by Iliana in this hunting season)

Very lovely one, Klassy.  Easy to see.  Glad you were reminded and brought this back for us to see.   ...jo

Hi, KL (LOVE the name!).

That's one vivid 'ku!

I could see the littel critter eating wild apples in northern Washington state.

Beautiful!

Iliana, thank you for sharing, too. I've missed reading your poems recently.  So good to see you here again.

I couldn't agree more.  I never get used to seeing them fall, and I'm in a famly of hunters.

JL...   Glad you approve of my name.  It seemed to evolve nearly of it's own accord, because I needed an address for e-mail and then a username for poetry followed from an anagram of my name. The other anagram would have been rise'n shine.  Klassy was easier.

Thank you for reading, too.

Hi, Enchantress.

~~~~~
pip_man, do you write haiku?  Now I will be on the look out for it.  Good to meet you!
Lady, for people, too.  I prefer the softer side of fall.
Oh well done!  Only 3 more weeks and I live this moment for real.  I pledge to take a copy of this with me and recite it in the Michigan UP woods...
