I’m not ready to be polite I’m not ready to make everything alright I’m broken into smithereens And life is nothing as it seems Forgive, I wish I could If I could turn back time, I would. I’ve made my bed and now I must lie in it Let my body bleed then let me drown in it I’m through with doubt And there’s nothing left for me to figure out Life picks you up the twirls u around Then dumps you like dirt upon the hard ground The tears I cry, floods this earth The life I once lived has lost its worth I’m a long time gone now, I can’t be cured I’m ready to run, and to the grave I am lured I’m taking the long way around I wanna make a pit stop, before I am buried in the ground |
