he never noticed her
standing there
holding a stop sign

and she just wanted to talk

he never noticed her...

so she put away the sign
and replaced it
'end construction'

and took another road...

Tis sad to be taken for granted.

But a girls gotta do what a girl's gotta do and that means not sitting round waiting on someone to notice what's in front of them! (putting my stop sign away)

The clipped words of this poem add so much to feeling of being clipped and eliminated.  So many diffeent feelings came to mind as I read this.  It's difficult to miss a bright red stop sign.  When that happens, it's move or get mowed down!

a lot of message in a few words...
