Scrawl Upon Then Snow

The wind sings a lullaby of white
From the porch, candles beckon the night
A moment seems blessed in its song
Leaned in visions drifting deep for so long

There we danced in the lingered return
Guiding hand at the waist, love will learn
In the warmth of your eyes my desire
Turning chill to a fevered night’s fire

There the earth rose to mold magically
Every grace sapphire lace valiantly
As the snow, came your kisses alight
When the wind sings a lullaby of white

A most lovely write Kathleen..
even though the snow arrived earlier than usual this year.

"The wind sings a lullaby of white"

there are just some lines

Hi, TD.

I agree with Steve.

"As the snow, came your kisses alight
When the wind sings a lullaby of white"

...is a captivating couplet.  Very lovely, indeed.

Softly sensual...and yes, the final couplet is a great finale.
