Haiku Wind Series

Desert

Suffer the Little Flowers

White sand drifts as snow.
The flower cries for water--
Wind muffles the cries.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plains
I of the Needle
Wind whistles through pines.
The white pines sigh mournful sounds.
Needles fall to Earth.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Beaches

Water Paints

Waves lap at the shore.
Whitecaps are driven by wind.
Sea foam paints the sand.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mountains
Mountain Spring
Mountain peaks are bare.
Snow melts with wind-driven warmth.
Spring feeds the dry streams.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Luminous silence...
Only color fills the space
Between night and day.

~Winds of chance blowing
Words around these pages blue
Encircles ... me ... you~

Same as intriguing Haiku
Ink-of-think in spill~

~Tanka comes along
As delicate as can be
Words-in-trace of thoughts
Penned so melodiously
Singing rhymes on page~
