Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2006-10-10 06:42 PM

Winter blue is the hue,
frozen is the memories,
laying beneath ice.

Dancing winds blow,
thoughts cascade in my mind,
a voice of one, echoeing.

In Stillness I lay,
hearing the crunch,
of snow beneath feet.

Will the kiss arrive?
awakening sleeping heart,
will it pass by, I cry.

As Single tear, freezes,
full of love, memories,
all that remains.

Clasp it in your hand,
sunlight catches its beauty,
feel it as it melts into your soul.

My last gift, my love,
the last piece of soul,
My diamond of love.

J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.”
