Of Reason and Season I chase a whale in one way sail My harpoon quails I see its tail But I am lost to make an end A lifetime chasing and it’s vend It chills me when I think of done Dead in the water if I have won My mind now holds my arm in throw I cannot end a life of go What would I do to spice the soup? Eternity is but a loop I feel the dogma of the race I really need this life of chase So I would block this heavens door And way-ward path forevermore I’d let them die and let them go With blessings to their souls in tow Insanity is fantasy This chaos of eternity |
