Leaving A Place

"She only wanted to leave a place
where she no longer wanted to stay."

There came a day for me when I realized
she wasn't my enemy, she didn't purposely
steal my heart, just to run away.
She only wanted to leave a place
where she no longer wanted to stay.
But before she did, she took the time
to share a portion of her life with mine,
and in those precious times, she became a
woman that I couldn't help but to adore.
Everyday when I awoke I always wanted more.
Wanting so much more of this woman I adored.

Sometimes the portion we get is enough.  And sometimes it just has to be enough.  I like the way you worded this one.  Nicely done.
