My Heart to Prize

06 October 2006

I love you more
more than any woman alive
When I could say other
yet another love would not survive

This love of two hearts
kept in distance apart
Stretched in endeavour
like a knife to a wound

For love was unconditional
and my love for you was more
Your beauty, your happiness
the spirit from within I adore

I love you more, I love you the most
no man ever will love you this same way
So here is to eternity, a place forever of you and me
Of my love for you, and your emerald eyes
as diamonds, most precious, in my heart to prize

“for Careyann”
Amigos Para Siempre
Friends for Life

“She is more precious than rubies: and all the things
thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.”
Proverbs 3: 15 KJV
