The Rush Of Revealing

Intricate, the need of the self for contentedness
As a delta, the soul collects vital happiness
Most of me in alluvial flows come to rest

Though I have no doubt about my own conclusions
That must pry me from love in reversed revolutions
Passion fills my eyes as my heart the same

Hoping for the miracle that could soothe torrent rain
Bring me strength to let go, as a true love abides
Instead, I am carried as sand in the tides

Night and day washed away as my dreams
Not the tragedy it probably seems, as a delta is still
Diamonds shine in the depths of undauntedly will

Such an awesome treasure you have cultivated
and given us...that we might learn and grow
as poets...just as you have.

Your poems always make me think. Which is good, gives an old brain a workout.
That, plus the seemingly unending well of imagery and metaphor.
Nice to read you.

You have revealed the motherlode of truth in this very fine write.

Since I consider myself a seeker of truth in all I do, say or think, when I stumble upon it, it is a revelation to me.

It is said that "The Truth Will Set You Free."

That freedom is now what I yearn for, even more than the futile search for love which remains so out of reach to me.

Thank you so much for sharing, it means everything to me.

To thy own self be true
