somos el barco,
somos el mar,
yo navego en ti,
tu navegas en mi
we are the boat,
we are the sea,
I sail in you,
you sail in me

~ Lorre Wyatt

like children
clinging to the hands of sunrise
on sleepy cobbles
past white walled casas
waking blossoms
flores cantando
singing
red and yellow

we pick our way barefoot
on golden sand
where the sea lies morning gray
waiting for la luz
the light
to bring it pearl and silver

wet salt fills our mouths
covers our feet
bodies fit
like boats
and we fall under
to rise and float
and sink again

infinitamente

Lady...There is something so sensory in your words...I can feel the sand and more, the vibration from the poet.

I really like how you combine the gentleness of two languages, as if they blend into one.
For a moment, my feet were on the sand.  Love your description, The Lady.
