Like a mirage in the desert of time
the waters of love glisten and gleam
and hasten the thirsty on, further on,
into the realms of a mystical mind
that mixes up truth with the lies
and forms a new paradigm.

I drink and swallow this perceived “dream”
and hoard it away in emotional states
far, far away, from criminal logic
that seeks to indoctrinate feel
into its own manner of being.

If reason be king and the ruler of mind
and emotion the state discarded as lies
dry and barren the heart in ascension
that weakens the status of soul.

But ~ oh, but, and I can’t tell a lie,
emotion alone no oasis, you know,
and so there’s a mix going on all the time
until smooth and fluid the heart
that rises into that new paradigm
for the rest and remainder of life.

Whatever the means, whatever the needs,
drink of the “dream” ~ and see how you feel!

So many great lines of poetic phrases that spark the imagination here.

I love this stuff:
"If reason be king and the ruler of mind
and emotion the state discarded as lies
dry and barren the heart in ascension
that weakens the status of soul."

And the end:
"Whatever the means, whatever the needs,
drink of the “dream” ~ and see how you feel!"

Excellent.
