This silence
deadly,
a dull knife
cutting through my heart
with each sound

not heard.

A reminder....

I listen for
familiar sounds
of creaking door

but the sound
doesn't come
at midnight
leaving me to find
I am greeted by

this emptiness

and I suffocate
from missing you.

I cannot breathe

while counting moments
until again, I can hold

your tiny hand in mine.

{for April, with love}

sometimes it's lonely, and sometimes it's only the shadows that fill this room...  {T. Tritt}

Hello Gentle Spirit,
This was so sad, so quiet...
...the loneliness in pain.
I really don't know what else to say, except, my thoughts are with you...

By choices not ours
still, we let little birds fly...

i know that my mother must have almost gone
insane waiting for myself or my brother to
return from a night out....

I did the same with my oldest....and I have
another following in her footsteps that I
will have to watch, watch even more closely.

Thanx for the memories....I had almost
forgotten them..(yeah, right)

My thanks to each of you.  It is a trying time for me, I value your support.  Even now, at her age her hands are still so tiny to me....                                        and for those of you who know....hugs, and thank you....
