I felt that Spark again.
A bolt of lightning, a surge of heat.
An instant connection I cannot deny.

This has happened before. 3 times in my life.
Each time it was spontaneous,
Electric, explosive.
3 different men, 3 different reactions

The first denied the Spark –
Only to admit years later that it had hit him too.
Oh, he took advantage of me and my link to him.

The second was afraid of the Spark.
He also enjoyed what I so freely offered.
Yet he ran when the time came to give his heart.

The last man was brave.
He took the challenge of the Spark.
He tried to give as much as he took.
Together we worked hard to keep the Spark alive.
But sometimes the brightest flame fades out.

Now again – I felt it.
Powerful, Magical
Alive and Unforgiving
Deep within my soul.

I did not want to feel it.
I was not ready for this.
And for the first time ever…
I FEAR IT.

The Spark does not follow your schedule.
It does whatever it wants, whenever it wants

It has sucked me in.
I cannot fight it.
The big question is
WILL HE?

I don`t know..

I wouldn`t call it a spark, more like a soft hum, if it is the same thing that we are talking about

and then about the poem itself, the structure, or rather, well...

lets see, take the ending:

Here it is the question whether the I of the poem can fight "it and whether he will, this seems to clash in an undesirable way, but here again its a question of the motives and the fact that the actors become objectives, I dont know, to a certain extent they should intertwine and mirror each other but, the a

MukkaKukka,
Thank you for the thoughts and critique. As to confusing you at the end, why do you think I wrote the poem? Seriously though, confusion was and still is my state of mind. But I admit the stucture could have used alot of work.
Mental note for the next one.

somewhat like the rush of water from a
waterfall into a gorge thousands of feet
below....

Yes, I understand the fear....because there
are always disappointments, no matter what
we do...

If he is smart, he will give in to the heat.

Great poem!

Welcome to Passions.
What you may want to improve for the next poem, was certainly forgiven in the intensity and flow of this one.
Well done.

enjoying sparks, vicariously
ignition depends upon both the intensity and the availability of combustibles
