In a state of disrepair...

Let us write of twisted usage
of nouns, things and facts.
Let us write of roses and
those cliches attached

Scribble down the lists of life
Love, hate, new attachments
Let us write of old times
in running reenactment.

Oh please continue to compose
and commit your emotive throes
With words that you find salient
inscribe upon this paper raiment.

"The world won't end in darkness, it'll end in family fun
With Coca Cola clouds behind a Big Mac sun."

One God by The Beautiful South

LT, I was never one for roses, and as soon as the present fades into routine, I'm sure I'll start writing of the past again, at least a few lines here and there.

This is a keeper for my library

Wordplay gives voice to matters near and far from the pinnacle and the heart.
Nice write.

It appears that ye be a scribe thyself!

Enjoyed your "scribbles".

Write away!

Loving Light,
