t
A cloak of rain upon them
in folly's dance they dream
with swaying limbs,

the sinners reach

replenished finish

the fresh brushed paint

the glory of the saints

the storms begin
upon the very frame
that wore the drops
of christened lace

sanctioned now
to wait
the clouds collapse
and angel's face,

and once again
the liberation
if but only for the moment

to be humbled
and annointed,
beneath the lord's
forgiving rain.

haven't seen him here lately but I'm sure he'll love this when he comes back around! I know I do!

It is so good to see you back and posting, Dear Goddess!

"to be humbled
and annointed,
beneath the lord's
forgiving rain."

~ absolutely adore those lines! You illustrated such depth and sensitivity in your writing.

Giving you a big warm hug,
Linda

Heartfelt, the prayers sent up for a friend.
You write so beautifully Michelle.  Count on backup, from all of us who believe in you.
