Ignore Alien Orders

Looked back at the aisle
Marked Rock and R&B
Smiling cause I knew
The guy on that CD

Minutes before
I had placed it there
Carved out of a tree
Pulled out of the air

Its got a real barcode
And sounds really good
Its not in their computer
But its outta my hood

Reverse Shoplifting
Why not give it a try

I wonder what they'll do
When someone tries to buy
The strange new CD
Left there by a spy

This is really clever and funny.

You had me laughing at the end -- hey, I'd buy it!  Come on to my town and just give me a hint.  I'll be there looking.

o00o00o000o0o0oo!!!!!

My son does this! Not exactly the same, but he'll run off a bunch of his own remixes, sometimes include some track he created himself, and he'll walk through stores, put them in the CD players on display, or maybe "lose" them one at a time in some other random public places....not to publicize himself, but just to give some total stranger a lift.

Hey thats cool ratleader I do that too...leave 'em laying around in coffee shops and such...

Sure you can midnite! When I first wrote this many years ago it was originally about a book left in the arts & poetry aisle - hence the line 'carved out of a tree' which sounds out of place I suppose but I left it in anyway - so now this is the modern updated CD version lol
