Le Ange de la Vie
(The Angel of Life)

Questioning his reality
he painted a whole new world
filled with abstract colors
and stylistic prose
exuding off the canvas
like music to the ears

Filling up the room
with vibrant confidence
that spreads to everyone
within his poignant reach
and tender sculpting hands
that shape the inner spirit
into reality's landscape

A modern day Shakespeare
of the Artist's realm
transcending every facet
of this thing called life
like a Godsent angel
from the Heavens above

A lovely write, Jill, though I am not sure who you are actually referring to; is it a boyfriend, an artist? a Christian religious figure?

Thanks for the comments.
And the inspiration behind this piece and it's allusions was my best friend (who is an artist) who basically saved me from myself/helped me find myself.

Jill~
It is always nice when we can recognize the 'earth angels' in our lives~

I am happy that you have such a wonderful best friend and I especially loved the strength in this verse:

Filling up the room
with vibrant confidence
that spreads to everyone
within his poignant reach
and tender sculpting hands
that shape the inner spirit
into reality's landscape

Shadow in Blue,

Outstanding imagery:

"Questioning his reality
he painted a whole new world
filled with abstract colors
and stylistic prose
exuding off the canvas
like music to the ears"

Yes!

When someone touches us this deeply,
it is good to acknowledge them
to others.  Well done.

As you all have said,
in earnest thoughts
it's best to thank
those in your life
that shine a light
in the dark corners
and grab your hand
when you flounder
and sink

So to you I say
thanks for taking the time
to read my pointless words
and shine another light
in my ever growing sky
that lyes overhead
this valley of passion
spanning the globe
