Most precious moment wailing alive
The umbilical separation of a mother,
Upon the tiniest hands clinging to life
Announcing lungs inhaling that loud cry.

The most delicate birth of humanity,
Future of the heritage of man’s evolution,
Blood lines of histories proud ancestry,
Motherhood birthing the next generation.

Smell of a newborn in their mother’s arms,
Tiny movements outside the empty womb.
Angel claiming their own space of time
Being nurtured, blessed with devotion.

Rock-a-by-baby of a mother’s lullaby,
Her voice soothing those squinting eyes,
Smiling face of angelic pure innocence,
Mother almost purring self-satisfaction.

Mother’s shine of that miracle glow,
Aura persona of the halo of motherhood,
The most precious gem of all creation,
Crown jewel attached to a mother’s heart.

Days will weather as seasons change looks,
As a newborn infant baby turns the pages,
Where pictures now show a young child,
Learning to walk a path of life’s challenge.

Walking they explore adolescence learning,
Nursed by a mother’s motivational teaching.
Testing waters of carefully guided reasoning
Until they leave the womb the second time.

Graduating upon an age of independent maturity
That ghostly mom has a hidden umbilical cord,
Which never severs a mother’s eternal loving bond.
Special clairvoyant sense called woman’s intuition

Note: This is dedicated to the mothers of love that nurture the highest standard of mutual respect, teaching the honor of telling the truth. This poem is by a Liberal taught by a mother to speak out and take the risk.

So, in the wealth of my heart and the poverty of my wallet, I am on a path of my own design. My words must grow from its infancy weathering time; one can only pray a label never breaks the dream. America’s voice must sing free in its independent mind

What a beautiful write!
This brought back such wonderful memories
of when my babies were newborn..
then watching them grow..
Thank you for sharing such a tender piece here with us.
