Look into the mist,
A compass is backwards,
The map upside-down,
There you have to find me

The sound of nothingness,
Echoing all around,
Just the sound of your stale breathing,
Filling the aimless void.

The snap of a twig under your carefully placed shoe shoots lightning down your spine,
A gasp,
An eerie silence,
A shrouded figure is beyond

This chilling mirage,
A mirror image,
The enclosed tightening space,
Constricting you

A corner is found,
In the morning mist,
Footsteps behind,
Your heart races

A hand on your shoulder,
A sudden gasp,
A view,
A sigh of relief

The sweet embrace in the closest quarters,
A kiss in the mist,
Followed by a swift departure,
Hands parting like silk softened lips

I go into the morning mist,
To be forever lost,
Just, like, this…

If you feel the touch,
are you then found?

Lovely lighting here, Joseph.

Thank you.
