Autumn serenade's
  my solitaire
trapped in heart walks
  a one direction addition
crowning each day
  in a keeping

each breath
  to relieve the darkness
each song
  to melody the moments
delivering me
  to a peaceful sleep
to vanish the night
  until tomorrow is granted
a trace of you...

oh this beautiful M...I love long walks in the fall. In a few weeks, the trees here will be vibrant with colours.  Nicely penned.

Very nice M.  I would imagine that where
you are, the weather is starting to feel
like that time of year.  It hasn't here,
but I know it will...

Barry, the last 3 days have been  beautiful but I am too tired to really enjoy them...I come home, look at my porch swing, think how wonderful and relaxing it would be to sit there a bit listening to music...unlock my door, see the sofa and plop down instead! So goes the life of teaching for now. Must be an age thing...they wear me out!

Donna, I am looking forward to Saturday...and a day off to enjoy the beautiful weather...I hope it doesn't decide to rain.
Thanks for the read.

Nancy, It's lovely around here during the beginning of Fall...leaves are beginning to fall and the  sunshine is just warm  enough to  be cozy...
Hope you  have the same

Maureen,
You never cease to amaze me with the visuals you leave your readers with, and the sheer talent you posess.
I hope to grow up and be half as good.

Serenade...a heart...a song...a keeping...a memory...a wish.

This one moves me, it truly does. If you hear that song again, hum a few bars back to it, for me.

dingusjr, thank you for joining my soft thoughts this day...

Ringo, your words lend me their smile this morning, a good start to my day...thank you for such kind words...some days I really need them.

Ed, it's nice to be moved once in a while isn't it. I am humming on my way to work today.
