when you wake in your azure morning
will your eyes dare to recognize
skin draped reckless over bones
and the back of my matchstick armor

will your songs be sun dried music
that are echos heard underwater
where I am the grinder of stones
for neptune in his gaudy oredom

will your eyes be the seeping dawn
that warms the wallowed womb
where I was buried in the last time
by a woman's wanton without fantasy

will your whispers be my salvation
licked from a saliva's spitting cross
left on some stranger's storefronts
by the hunter of a healed boredom

in the valley of cricket kneed pines

Given the title

and then this line

"in the valley of cricket kneed pines"

put some very dark imagery
into my head...

Not everyone has your way with
winding the necks of lexis
but you do make us think...

yes you do.

Thank you for that.

Well, we have the sun here. She is peeking out from behind some clouds blushing rosy as I read this and say, "ah Dark! You've done it once again".

Good morning, Sir.

Nicely done Daark. Today the sun is shining golden amber hues against a beautiful blue sky, it started rather dreary but has evolved into gorgeous skies...

hope the day has gotten brighter there for you D.

Very strong poetic presentation

"will your eyes be the seeping dawn
that warms the wallowed womb
where I was buried in the last time
by a woman's wanton without fantasy"

My favorite stanza
