Folding Words
~*Marge Tindal*~

Amid the strokes
of brushed ink thoughts
poet finds words of inspire
the canvas of the artist emits
such beauty that drips right into
my well of inking, stirring my muse
to thinking that maybe, just maybe
creative minds, indeed, think alike~

I knew this was going to be beautiful..
but this is exquisite Marge!
It looks as thought the lovely girl in the painting is rising up out of your ink well.
Two very talented women put their work together and produced....magic!

My goodness! What a talented artist!

Spirit literally leapt from the painting and spilled into words down the blue page!

Hugs to both the artist and the poet!

And just to think of the 'chance' of it -

I followed a link in an artist newsletter,
found this gorgeous painting by Sandra de Nijs, asked for permission to use it for this poem, was granted that permission, and later when I had to come up with the special cover art for my book, I wrote and asked Sandra I could use it for my book, she said YES ... and the rest is history in the making~

How blessed I feel to know that Sandra stood at her canvas one day and said, "Native American?"  "Why am I painting Native American?" ... then coming to know that it was 'destined'~

'Out of the Whispering Winds' has the most magnificent cover, in my opinion~
And I greatly thank this wonderful artist for the beauty of her work that folds my words deeply inside~

The book can be purchased online at www.amazon.com and at www.barnesandnoble.com
