I am a seasoned traveler
and I do not mind the night,
for the darkness has a purpose
as well as does the light.

There, beyond the hill, come look;
just across the meadow brook,
the sun will rise in that very spot,
then we will see just what we've got.

What a blessing, to travel on,
to find that hope is never gone,
to hear the faint notes of a song
within the dark before the dawn.

I am a seasoned traveler, so
if it's ever too dark for you to see,
I will gladly offer the space beside...
to the light, you can walk with me.

.

that we must

I'm going to take you up on that
passing shadows
I need to walk with you a ways...

I love this poem

Alas that I am not...two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and I stood there, stupefied.
