Challenge from another website. The given line was:
"Why does it always have to rain on me?"

This is what I came up with:

Why does it always have to rain on me?
In the path I must go I have a choice
Seems the rain's following, willingly free
Sometimes backing up when I raise my voice

I know it will keep me alert to think
About the issues I'd rather forget
It helps, getting out white paper and ink
And trust it with words, in rhythmical set

Rain merges slowly with ink in my pen
Eventually dissolving quite well
Giving me time thinking over again
That life really isn't the so-called hell

In stead of only seeing the black site
Of rain, pouring constantly down on me
I looked at each drop's reflecting light
And saw all persons by choice I could be

I'm not complaining when I'm getting wet
It is my moment of making a choice
Which road I should follow without regret
At which path I'm receiving most rejoice

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Thank you Titia, for this.
I love rain. Floods, I can live without.
