Embodiment Of The Moon

Elliptical, rendering glow of your essence
A tear, that soaks engrained my wooden heart
Petrified, to beat beneath the light of silence

Almost sheer, illumined causing calm
To kneel or lay upon bent grasses of gold
Tender is the sky in its velvet emotions

Catch my breath, wings upon the stir of air
Bowling a scoop of laughter sent up high
Moving the masks of trees in the dark

Peering through long arms of whispers
Taking form that delights itself upon me
What was still, the sound of your voice

Fluent in star-struck, an energy apart from time
Reflecting harmonic waves subliminal
To wait…said to wait in the bask of always near

I always have to break out the dictionary
when you are posting...you teach us all a
lot.  Never stop,  you are an invaluable
part of this poetic machine...

I, on the other hand...some day I'll be
close to your caliber.

I like the mask of trees

that brings in mind the Buddhist saying about the trees that are trees to a novice, and after he has learned a bit, they`re no longer

but when he is fully learned...

"...said to wait in the bask of always near"

That is poetic muscles being flexed right there. Reading some more...

awesome and beautiful....we seem to be on the same kind of mind waves this day...in somewhat of a different arrangement, yet, feeling, touching the same evening, same trees...
two great minds think alike, right?
hehe

Seriously Lady, you've got gold here...
magical read, enjoyed.
