.

Com-passion

               is a meaningful word...
               sharing the same passion
                      the same suffering
                      the same agony
                      accepting in my heart
the misery in yours,   oh,    my  friends
                               and you  ~  accepting me.

Oh yes,  there is fear
                 but even more deeply
there is the insistent cry from the entrails
                 of the suffering one

                        that calls me forth...

               some faint feeling
                    of confidence
              that my smile   my presence
                 has value    and can give
                                 hope..

thus deep friendship is born

                                     mutual presence

                                  humble and forgiving

                                      engendering

                                        quiet joy.

For me to say that you have a "compassionate" heart, would most assuredly be an understatement!

Nancy, as you love others, may that love be returned to you ten-fold! You are beautiful inside and out!

Sending lots of love to you!

" some faint feeling of confidence that my smile my presence has value and can give hope.."

Words to weep by. Far too many times, thoughts fall back to that dream. Beautifully worded.

Your poetry always glows

"Oh yes,  there is fear
                 but even more deeply
there is the insistent cry from the entrails
                 of the suffering one

                        that calls me forth...

               some faint feeling
                    of confidence
              that my smile   my presence
                 has value    and can give
                                 hope..

"

One can give hope.

(wipes tears) Oh Nancy, this made me cry because this is soooooooo beautifully genuine and beaming with such emotional strength and comfort! (smiles) That's what the most beautiful gift of compassion has always been to me; that there's more than just the shoulder you lean on for support, but feeling the warmth of a friend's smile and understanding exactly how a smile can transcend all earthly limitations and grief! (wipes tear) God Bless You, sweet friend, this poem totally made my day, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Nancy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
