prarie dog come along one day with his friend coyote there's a party goin' down we're gonna rock it all night so dig yourself up and come on by follow the path of forgotton skin to the hole in the ground where the rattlesnake lives she got moves you don't wanna miss but just watch out for her kiss don't you dig me up and don't you move me around I dig my spot with my roots down in the ground and I don't like the looks of you with your teeth, claws, and beady eyes too I hate to say it but no thanks and anyway, snakes have fangs tumbleweeds are my best friends they blow in and blow out again they don't like to let you in dry like the desert with dead skin stick them with my spines they just don't seem to mind what I like best of all they don't have teeth or claws I think I know better I see the looks they give you should know me better my skin is spiny, thin sun comes up and goes down sometimes being alone is easier |

So, is this what prompted your screen name? You'd rather be alone, in the digs where you're planted than take in all those curves Ms. snake has and hear her castinetts. I like this! Rae |

Not so much my desire to be alone...it speaks to the relationships some people (including myself) sometimes have with friends, family, girlfriends, etc.....how the fear of rejection, saying the wrong thing, being embarresed, or being disliked can lead to isolation. Nobody wants to be alone. However, being alone is preferable sometimes because there are no consequences (aside from loneliness.....) Thanks for the comments. C |
