It seems I know you but I am unsure
Eyes try to peer inside, seeking recognition
Beyond this feeling that I know you
Maybe we passed on Aisle 7 near the canned goods
Two faces glancing, eyes meeting, a smile shared
Now, I think I know you but maybe I don’t
Fingers tap against the steering wheel of my car
I flit through my mental file cabinet and wonder
It’s all pretty silly
But, I really think I have known you before
Maybe it was another lifetime in another place
We are souvenirs of a different era or century
All that remains of who we once were
are the windows to our souls
and a thought
that maybe I know you
It’s a realization that even if I don’t know you
I do.

ms az..ok ok..busted...yes i was the pebble you skipped on the lake when you were 9..so glad you found me again and saved me from the gravel road to nowhere..

Nice...reminds me of feelings that I get...I meet someone and their seems to be no connection...then perhaps a few months or a year later...we connect as if it was an assigned moment...James
