As I stand on high edge,   I
Ponder the gravity
Of the situation,
Experience,
I have none,
Leaping from
Such altitudes,
I cannot dive,
I scarcely swim,
But I'll live
My days, then,
And throw myself to
The swirling winds,
What an exotic location
To make oneself a fool. Is the water warm?
I shall find out soon.  Deep breath.......

Welcome to Passions!  This is the way to live life...to dive in, and to know that your own verve will lift you to bubble's breath, and breath in the gift of life's air...

A strong statement, a powerful way to begin.

I look forward to more of your writings.

Please, check your email for a Very Special Greeting!

Welcome to the blue pages!  Your imagery is outstanding.  I'm trying to decide whether the underlying thought is bravery or suicide, or maybe a little of both.

Great poem! I'm scared to death of jumping from any height, but this poem nevertheless really appealed to me!

Dive in, by all means--it's the only way to confront life. But...look before you leap, won't you?

Cheers

Thought I would add....the poem is in the shape of a cliff with "I" hanging on the edge of the cliff ready to dive in.  Maybe that's obvious.
