Sword of Faith
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

Winds may rage in tidal sweep,
And storm clouds cry in raindrop weep,
Yet strong I stand on solid ground,
With Sword of Faith in safe surround.

I raise the blade to riotous skies,
As whipping rains sting clouded eyes.
But then soft rays pierce days of night,
~Bathing me in Rainbow Light.

Couldn't we all use that? I liked the line about days of night especially--a nice ironic comparison. (I think that's what you call it, at least. lol Hope I'm coming across clearly.) Good to read you again, Linda!

Dear Linda, your enchanting "Sword of Faith" is indeed a deep profession of faith ... and you made me think of Archangel Michael, whom I love so much ... of course you must be well acquainted, among Angels harmony flows abundantly.

Thank you so much for this.

Love and hugs, beautiful One.

Linda,

It is always a pleasure to read your poetry and enjoy the lovely pictures set with it.  I hope someday that I'll be able to get my hands on an assemblage of your many poems!  (I have many tucked away in my library, but a book would definitely be nice!)

Misya.  It's good to read your words again.

Be well,

If it weren't for Lord Michael jumping in to protect me many times over, I would not be here today! When a miracle is about to happen, I am bathed in the most glorious blue Light.

Thank you for such a wonderful reply!

(smiles) Oh Linda, I just loved how you effortlessly depicted the intensity of all the elemental forces in this, for you show exactly how faith speaks volumes and can speak louder than any pang of thunder and all at once, can also speak as deeply as the still waters of the world, yay! (kiss n cheek) This is a keeper, dearest friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
