Let me find a way, To show the sorrow that is flooding my valley of tears, To prove my un-dying love for the lush beauty before me, So I can grasp heaven’s door, open, with you haloed in front of me. Forgive my unjust and wicked ways, The lies and the hate, The lust and the regret, The emotional instability of an un-sound mind plays tricks on the regular lover boy, Who would usually think with logic and fair judgement. And now has to endure and suffer, The awaiting punishment from the almighty high above him, Knowing he has wronged another, Because he is lost… Stuck in a world where he does not know how to act or think, Times change, he does not, Where every night, he sits and re lives past actions and mistakes, Imagining a different world, a place of meaning and solitude. Applying mixed thought to his dreams and aspirations, Trying to exquisitely plan a future that will better his life and state of mind, To begin to comprehend how his mind is made up, to crack the stream of enigma, Blocking the path to greatness… |
