Near golden sunsets

Inevitably I dread to
Hear the hedonous words that leach
Each night from her lips.
Among a pillow's scape of
Rolling, feathered down
Those eyes latch onto
Mine like twin succubi.
Yet I yearn to be
Between nothing more than
A silken set of weaves that
Trace the curve of her legs.
Truly, the good with the bed,
Left to chance with a devil.
Each full moon's cast shadow
Riles the boldened blood
I unsuccessfully try to cool with
Flames of ice that burn hotter
Lusting after that woman.
Each night ends how the devil lays the dice.
