(Just a vent)

Left to right, centre, back;
mind moves the scene around
but the placing and displacement
can’t unearth a better feel
for what is not inherent
in the personality.

It’s the circumstance of days
that wields a heavy hand
in the dribble down of dirt
into the hourglass of heart ~
and suffocate?  Yes, it’s so;
I always fight for breath
when buried is the truth
of my unique design.

I don’t invite the digging
or tempt a new discovery
when transparency falls flat
on the floor of disinterest
but the reining in, reining in,
of how I am inherently
opens up the chasm
wider, wider, wider,
between a you and me
than can ever be believed.

Show and tell?  No, no, no!
Cold is the wind that blows
on a naked soul repose
trying so to harmonize
with an off-key reality.

Let it be, let it be,
the way you would perceive
for it’s not inherent in me
to seed what cannot grow!

Some designs destroy
But to stay on the ground and not fly
Why, why that
Would be like
hot wax burning illusion
And you lady, have no blurred edges
Only lines between lines, clearly marked
Spicy and delicious

So where ever you stand
You are always on the other side
Lost in a dream somewhere
With twisted turns of submission
Contributed by millions of little identity forums
Brain dwellings listening to the news

Farming milk fed-traditional ways
Oh certainly, the flesh
Is not as tender as it used to be
But
There are now,
New regulations drawing lines to circles
Circles, raising the voice to others needs
And nobody listens
So, sail where you please
Dear heart
Sail where you please
Dancing in the drifter’s club
Weightless and fancy free

Opening the big artery
To the heart
Until blood soars
In emerals glades of timeless beauty
Where your realm
Lives
Sparkling
Misted maiden
Of poetess warrior

love ya

Thanks, jo -  you're a dear!

LeeJ - I dunno really - maybe you're a mind reader?

"So where ever you stand
You are always on the other side
Lost in a dream somewhere"

I told someone just the other day that I seem to have been "somewhere else" all my life but as for the dream, that's fairly recent.  Your words are a gift to be treasured unlike the "metaphorical goulash" I've been accused of writing - it's true though - sigh!  It's inherent!     Luv back to a very special lady with thanks!
