Waters of time...
                    Droplet by Droplet
            Drip
                 Drip
                      Drip
   in to this Life

           The measure of my Life
                      Determined upon the Fill Line
                on the Alabaster Bowl...
                Drip
                     Drip
                          Drip
   The hours/years announced
by the evolving paraphenalia of the ages...
              The level receding...
              Life receding
                             Drop by Drop
        until
             The Last
                          glistening Droplet

   suspends upon the Jewel Point...

                              a moment
     lets go...
                  Drops

                    joining with the waters below...

Filled to the Fill Line as it counts the Time...

             Droplet
                    by
                       Droplet

                               Drip...

                                      Drip...

                                             Drip...

Welcome to passions! What an interesting way to describe life, I'm not sure I've ever heard it described in that way before. It has certainly given me a lot to think about. Thanks a bunch for sharing!

What a delightful entrance, welcome, any friend of Larry's must be a friend indeed. (He has such amazing talent, I'm sure all his friends do), and this definitely shows talent.

The flow, the form are delightful and  rather special, I'm sure you will love it here.

Welcome to PIP, what a tremendous entrance, comparing all the moments in life to water dropping, faster and faster as we grown older, until....

Your going to fit right in....

"by the evolving paraphenalia of the ages..."

I adore this line.

Yes indeed ... that "evolving paraphenalia" in our lives, I do know it well ... sometimes welcomed and sometimes ... not.

And I would also like to extend a warm greeting to you ... Welcome to Passions!

The presentation of words dripping down the page was very effective in portraying the waters of time running out.

Hi! ~ and welcome to the pip family of kindred poets! Your debut poem was impressive!

Sheesh, I was still looking at the sandgrains left to fall through that hour glass of life.  Now our planet's heating up, and we're dripping away.  Seriously, I enjoyed your piece.

Warm welcome!

Everyone has been so kind with their feed back on this piece! I am overwhelmed with your generosity.  I've kept my stuff mostly to myself for years but Larry C. has gently but firmly encouraged me to post.  I'm so glad I did, and did I say thanks for being kind?!
