Sometimes I dream
But mostly I’m oblivious
To the obvious
Still though, I dream
Mostly just fantasies taken
From books with space and history
From the Wild West to 2376
I’ve done it all
But every now and then
I have the real ones
Where reality and dreams collide
And I’m somewhere I will be
Growing up I dreamed of sand
Army men driving to war
Good times, bad times all the same
But never thinking of it
But I know that things are right
I’ve been there in my dreams
Seen the path that I was to take
Nothing is lost upon my way
I found the woman for my soul
Right where I had left her
She’s haunted my dreams for so long
Just a shadow in the mist
Funny how you travel the road
So much easier when the horses lead
Instead of pulling the cart
With the horses in the back
Maybe if I hadn’t tried to force my future
Things would have been easier
But that was then this is now
And there’s no use crying over spilled milk
Yet every day I wasted
Is one less day I have
Living happy and peaceful
In the garden of my Eden
But everything is better
Than even I knew it was
There are no more shadows to haunt me
No dangers in my soul
Evil demons fade away
Replaced by her smiling face
And it makes me smile
In my dreams
So there’s no crying over spilled milk
Living in my Garden of Eden
No more shadows in the mist
An eternity in my dreams to explore

While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?

EA, Thanks!

Enchantress,  I do what I can to paint a picture, or sing a song.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Lady, may you find many more to enjoy.

Bloody, I remember an old song that holds true.  "time, is on my side"  sing it sometime and remember, good things in life are worth waiting for.  Everything in life should be right, but being right doesn't always mean right now.

Arwen, Thanks.
