Magic~ in the mystic moonlight
from dolphin's mouth crystal waters arch -
moonbeams dance in silver ripples
under a canopy of lilac blossoms..
a bench invites romance ~
glow-worms between branches flicker
their little lanterns
in a ceremonial dance.

Hands move gently - voices whisper
lips discover love's sweet mead
hearts in joyous rhythm beat
passion grasps with hungry arms
captive love in fierce embrace.

Hide not your mystic face pale moon
dawn's victory comes all too soon.

~For Marge, knowing she will love tonight's full moon~

Lately, for some unknown reason, I've become partial to "stage" magic....making red hankies disappear "here and there"...wonder why?......

Nice write red...

Nancy...I didn't have water to reflect it, just telephone wires to disect it.  Lovely poem!

A great "lovescape."  There is something about the moonlight mixed with dark that touches us all.  Good job!  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
