Limbo... I never grew up

It seems like time passes
Like the wind in a storm
When I don't want it too

After years I pleaded
And now I'm free enough

I'll tell you a secret
It was never the boy
who stole my scattered heart

There was something darker
cynical at my heart

mostly anger
betrayel
despair

Of a time long ago
yet still present to me

I was stuck in limbo
Amorephobia
was the jail around me
Anger was my keeper

So I stayed there
each boy, guy, man
I broke their hearts

I let them in to a war
they could never comprehend

I use to say they came in
like a night in shining armor
Only to retreat from my despair

The worse part was my guilt
it made me lag on to them
always thinking of how I hurt them

Then came the hard part.
realizing I had a problem
I knew I did, but I never admitted

Time wont undo
It just is
if I don't move on
the world
won't wait

where have you been, it's so good to read you again...and in rare form, as usual...outstanding read...and simply the way things are...life is a learning experience, if we'd move on without it, we'd be lost for sure....hugs to ya and many thanks for this

Nice critique statement *lol* ....This poem sadened me. Was a nice write dont get me wrong.(: This caught me eyes the most.
