Slow like molasses
the days pass
when I am stuck
not here
or there

I am left with a feeling
of being no where

When life is moving
surrounding me
the tick of clock
is all I see

reminding me...

I look back
see the footprints
I've left behind
and sometimes I still
don't even know
where I've been
or where I've yet to go;

and I try
not to carry to much baggage
along with me
because there is still so much
I've yet to see

and sometimes
you just have to

let bygones be..

Carrying that extra weight
is something I don't need
and I know that the future
is only what I allow myself
to conceive

I know in my heart
that I must follow my dreams
down whichever path
that it might lead

some days I’m not sure
of where that will be

as I face the unknown,

these things I've yet to see.

ms gs...walk on tiptoes
in the warm water
let everything else
float away

you only need the night sky
and dreams

I think we're always given enough time to get where we have to be - sometimes we're even there already without knowing it.  I'm sure many can relate to the mix of confusion and determination expressed so well. Enjoyed!

We've all been there--Stuck on Life's Hold, somewhat wondering how we got there and most surely wondering just where it is all heading--or did we take a wrong turn somewhere?

A good reflective, contemplative read!

When you know you have to follow the dream whereever it goes, then you know it all.  I like the feel of this one.

just follow your dreams
let them lead you where ever
your heart will follow

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
