Moth Missing

Moth missing.
She will fly in the archives
If a light appears.

Reading her
Reminds me of my
Bare feet in wet sand.
Pebbles dare not touch
Any spaces in my thirsty soul.

The words I miss?
When she turns a cheek,
Her earth laughter.
The tears at the centre of her soul
She drizzles on a mind’s parched soil.

That familiar cool zephyr she releases
That appears in pirouette
Releasing pulverized grains of thought
That sift through my empty mind.

Yes, and,those
Whirling fireflies,
Each kited with silver thread
Sent to tickle my mind.
You are missed Moth.

Janet Marie has been very busy with family issues, but she is sure not forgotten.
I found this art, and it had to be dedicated to her.

A link to some great poetry for the newcomers if I may?

Sharon, a lovely dedication to our Janet Marie.
Oh how I miss reading her too!
Mayhaps this heartfelt write and beautiful artwork
will lure her toward these pages blue.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again....

Sharon, first I wanted to say it is so good to see you posting again, and even more so with such a beauty as this, and second, yes, the mothy gal is missed so very much
but with wings like hers? Ya gotta fly....

hugs to you both.

I've had some recent conversations with our Moth Queen, and by far she deserves the accolades you've given her; she is a poet that has scaled lines that we only wish we could achieve; but your poem, and honor, Sharon, does her a supreme justice.

Thank you for sharing her so very well.

Jan has, and now I will also take this opportunity to thank you humbly for your nice comments.  Life just goes on, and sometimes it is  away from here for longer periods of time than we imagined.

I hope that our new members get into the archives and read some really good poetry that is there.  Thanks again.

Sharon...I really miss her too....who else could see into a rainbow and turn a butterfly free?  I know her eye is still beyond what others see wherever she may be.

Thank you for this lovely tribute.

A nice honor write for the moth queen, who is still at the top of my list of truly outstanding word artists.  I miss her photos too!

Your tribute to this amazing poet is well deserved. Her absence at any given time creates a void
And you my dear, are the one to do it right. I cannot say enough for the quality of your poetry, the grace of your phrases, the depth of your sentiments
This is superb writing, and only such writing could do jutice to our dear friend JAnet MArie
Love you both

Fitting tribute.  I have been lurking and too notice her absence.  I was just reading her "Ask the Stars" last night and loving it again. Her mothy soul has a way of lifting ours even in her absense.

Come home soon Janet Marie!

Thanks everyone, I am sure she has popped in to see the wonderful words left for her, but life has a way of making us sometimes take a different path unfortunately.
