Hello Are You Still There

I thought I would ask again
Hello are you still there
I was hoping for your reply
Answer if you still care

Have I gone from your mind
I wonder was this true
You had been silent again
Its why I am asking you

Have I fallen upon deaf ears
In my unanswered plea
Your silence seemed to say
You had forgot about me

I assume you had moved on
Although I was never told
After vowing not to be silent
You had kept me on hold

Since you said not to worry
Its all I ever seem to do
Being one that never forgets
I continue to think of you

Ah! How many times in life have we said those words. "Hello are you there?"
To a friend, a lover, our family. Yesterday I was walking from room to room looking for something and was on the phone and my friend said " Hello are you there?" I laughed and told him I was trying to find something. DAH! We are always multi-tasking.
Good poem. Also went to the other site and listened to the music.
