The Other Sun

My eyes are shut yet see the sun
A valley full of emerald green
A golden field of flowers spun
A ballet full of joyous scene

And here I lay me down to sleep
To make a hammock of a web
To dream my dreams of phantoms reap
And wait the silver moon to ebb

It is my choice of nightly spore
A place I go of rainbows bend
My thing of wile that I adore
That serves me pleasure in it’s wend

There is no harm in dreams of sweet
A piece of candy spun at night
There is no harm in dreaming treat
A bit of love to make it right

Each night I go to heavens door.
Someday I’ll stay forevermore.

Good morning, Sir T

"Each night I go to heavens door.
Someday I’ll stay forevermore."

~ and when that day does finally come, one of God's true earth angels will be returning Home.

You have such a lovely spirit ~ but may it remain with we Earthlings for many a year to come!

Sy, we all go to heaven's door each nite
as we slumber...and yes, one day...it will
open, allowing entry...

Thank you for this repost
of some wonderful candy, Sy.

I'm not one for sweets,
more a salty person myself,
but this filled the bill.
